Digital Art Intallation by Pittsburgh New Media Meetup Designed by David Newbury w/ Iontank 2016 VIA Festival, Pittsburgh PA The “Exquisite Donut” re-creates the Surrealist drawing game "The Exquisite Corpse" in the digital world using the coding languages of OpenFrameworks and Processing. Following a set of rules, artists create generative drawings that anticipate and subvert other drawings in the series. Displayed on a custom array of screens, together these works create an infinite loop, continually changing form and appearance.
